Where is Glasgow Located?

Glasgow is a city located in central-west Scotland, on both sides of the border between historic Lanarkshire and Renfrewshire. It forms the Glasgow City Hall area, one of the 32 municipal areas in Scotland. The city is situated along both banks of the River Clyde, 20 miles (32 km) from the mouth of the river on the western or Atlantic coast. Glasgow is the largest city in Scotland and forms an independent municipal area that lies entirely within the historic county of Lanarkshire.
